Dhrumil My drive is shown healthy in device manager and it copies till 1.24 GB any data from any of but after that in Windows transfer it shows I/o error and You could run chkdsk in it to check for any errors on your disk that might be what's creating problems.. I tried looking at Linux Live CD but I know nothing about this. Install the updates by clicking the .exe or setup files from the downloaded packages. Check the documentation for the device you suspect is causing the problem to verify what its transfer mode settings should be.Typically, DMA is turned on automatically during installation for those devices I am assuming the copies of those files will be bad.
If it works, then the issue is with the disk/drive/device you are trying to use. The error can be triggered from either a normal state of operation of the computer or when it resumes from hibernation or sleep modes.
