It sounds silly, but it worked for me and at least one other user on this board, so it's worth a try. I've been caught out with this before because it throws up all sorts of errors without letting you know exactly what the problem is. If you create a short 30 second project with different footage in iMovie and try to burn it through iDVD, does it work? It did it for mine, I had almost 2 hours and it would not fit on a standard DVD, it would on a double layer but those the customer didn't want
