I still can't get iDVD to work and get this error still. Takes a little longer to process as it is no longer encoding in the background; but at least it actually works (for me anyway)! Usually if a handbrake video is long it wont burn the last few chapters. Added movie clips, added map and added Filmstrip theme.
That's all you have to do. That fixed the problem and put the menu at the beginning. When you create a scene selection menu from chapter markers, iDVD automatically uses the entire movie for every scene's thumbnail image.
