When you do finally come to the point where you burn your movie, iDVD will warn you how much disk space it needs to burn. One of the replies on a thread with this subject said not to, but my experience today is good. One thing: I've been trying to get a still picture from my film, but can't figure out how to do it. It worked for me. Blank Single Layer (SL) DVDs can only hold 4.7GB of data so I had a big problem. Now use Apple's Disc Utility (in /Applications/Utilities) to burn the disc image to a DVD. navigate here I've used "-", "&" and "," with no problem in the chapter names.

I never would have figured it out. Under that delete com.apple.iDVD.plist. I save my iDVD Projects as Disk Images to see if any problems come up, and then check that the DMG plays before burning that to disc. Any ideas?
I finally solved the problem by working backwards. Can anyone recommend a reliable high-quality 3rd-party DVD-burning software for Mac OS that works with .mov files (e.g. It worked once - when I included a single 10-minute movie in the root menu, one slide show, and nothing else. Big bark, no bite.
