Since installing the upgrade (iLife '08) I can not finalize any project within iDVD. What I have read throughout posted forums and discussions are lots of upset-lost users encountering problems with their upgraded iLife. After searching on the Internet and not finding solutions; but many helpful hints, I did the following in iDVD: Advanced -> Encode in Background (so that it becomes UNCHECKED). Even if you've burned several copies so far, it's still a good idea to change it up. While my G5 mac turns it's nose up at the finished product, my DVD's play great on anything else. To do this under your user name click library and then caches.
