We have a batch job receiving an ABEND 878-10 after executing nearly 60 minutes. http://ibmmainframes.com/about49367.html Unfortunately, we cannot access IBMLINK right now due to some 'access' issues with IBM. Error During Getmain Sys Code = 878-10 If you find a large number below the line. The batch job is COBOL 3, it has a fetch cursor and retrieves nearly 120,000 records. It appears to be failing in the DB2 TCB 008CDE88 (see error message below). To use storage above the line, parameter ALL31(ON) should be coded, and the various STACK and HEAP parameters should specify ANYWHERE instead of BELOW. In the VSAM File Server PROC for Connect:Enterprise z/OS 1.4.00, the following parameters are the defaults. Not sure why it going below the line?? Symptom You have REGION=0M coded on your JOBCARD, and do not have any size restrictions on the region being imposed by operating system exits. Do a find previous on the amount. It appears to be failing in the DB2 TCB 008CDE88 (see error message below). I'll send copies to you directly, since they're too large to post here.
