I published the app and it shows up in my apps. They were getting the eminently unhelpful, "An error occurred while making the requested connection." In the web interface application logs, I noticed this: An error of type IMA with an error A Socket Has Been Forcibly Destroyed By The Transaction Layer Several functions may not work. An error of type IMA with an error ID of 0x80000001 was reported from the Citrix XML Service at address http://XENAPPSERVER:80/scripts/wpnbr.dll [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestAddress]. Apparently that doesn't work so well.

I notice that it is on port 80, have you changed the port by chance? I have a single XenApp server and another server acting as Secure Gateway/Web Interface. When I go to launch the app it throws an error in IE saying "An error occurred while making the requested connection". You might want to run XML on port 8080 unless you have a reason for port sharing with IIS?
