Interestingly enough, I had the identical file on CS3 on a PC and it did the same thing (I also had to add fonts there). Rather than place them and resize etc I was just *re*placing them.   • Recreating the document.
  • I didn't have any overlapping issues or others as described above.
  • If possible, keep a standby disk so that in crunch situations, you don't get caught on wrong foot!
