If those steps don't work, run cfgmgr to discoveer the deleted disks and pick out one of the "hdisk" names that was part of the original volume group using the volume The cable connection was not in ALL THE WAY , fixed it , rebooted , did a fsck on the file systems that did not mount , OK now.
