i think there is a different method for each computer type.. I did dis-able the anti-virus after you suggested it, but still get that message. I don't understand why this happens.

I don't feel that this is the right place for profanity but maybe that's just my opinion. I can't imagine that it would be. there are lots of sites that offer those tools. Under Performance status it should say, "Your system is configured for optimal performance." If not, you may be using outdated drivers that will undermine the performance of your system.
