It's strange enough that we are creating a ReferenceExpression in the first place with not '::' anywhere in sight. 5. I would report it to the VM vendor.
  6. I deleted the ecj.jar from the ant lib directory (that was copied there by the liferay sdk), and replaced the ecj.jar of the sdk lib directory with the ecj 3.5.1.

Comment 2 Ben 2008-07-16 07:58:54 EDT I'm able to reproduce this problem using the following class: package com.test; public class Test { public Test() {} public Test(String s) {} { for Callers of copy() from the resolve phase already expect and handle a null result, only generateImplicitLambda() needs to be adjusted, when copy() can indeed return null. As they build in the same SDK, they are using the same java, the same compiler, portal etc.

Moving out. Farming after the apocalypse: chickens or giant cockroaches? I think, just like other cases, where an unhandled exception results in errors being marked at line 0. Looks like a VM issue.

I went to Preferences > Java > Compiler > Errors/Warnings > Null Analysis and unchecked "Enable annotation-based null analysis" that got rid of the problem. On what operating system? Is it normal that errors during annotation processing are signalled at line 0? useful reference It was a comment.

You signed in with another tab or window. The malicious code is triggered from various places: the Java builder, save participants, decorators, etc. At least, they are not an internal compiler error any more. So, now I have in the same SDK the two versions of the same plugin, but the first version compiles without a problem, and the second has the following error: [javac]

Comment 2 Jerrimiah Nance 2016-02-23 10:13:05 EST Compiling the following class will cause the problem --------------------------------------------- package bug; public class InfiniteBuildLoop { void infiniteLoop(){ String s = new String(char[] c); } Two possible solutions: (a) Ensure that parsing will always create the same recovered AST, even when invoked via parseExpression(), or, (b) Cope with a null copy and interpret this as "too

This is not only *very* old, it's also a version which I've never seen before: "0.883_R34x, 3.4.1 release". I get now some other errors of already defined types, that I shouldn't get. Very likely has to be moved out of 4.6 entirely. Using ecj-3.5.1.jar from the maven repository solves the problem with the null pointer exception. What is the difference between "al la domo" and "en la domon"? The java version is 1.6.0_65, but the problem is also reproduceable in different machines. Also, the class that fails in the compilation is identical in the two projects. Thanks in advance.
