Hi, I am using 8100 bb, with v4.2.061 (platform). I just backed up my curve using the desktop manager then did a hard reset. Then I restored the information onto my Curve again using the desktop manager and was able to sync with no problems. So i'm guessing my curve has something messed up and not my desktop manager.

  1. I would recommend you always sync with the local replica for memo, to-dos, and address book.
  2. Additional Information By changing the default profile for the computer, it will force the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to use the new profile.

  7. as soon as I check the calender it gives me the error message.
  8. If it works go back and update you calendar settings to sync.

I also figured out that that error message was from my curve and did not have anything to do with the desktop manager. I really appreciate all the work you guys did to help me out. But when I tried to sync the "Calendar" and "Address Book", it failed. Any other thoughts?

This fix will cause you to lose the data in the particular devise database that you delete (in my case, Calendar) but when you re-sync, the only data lost permanently is On the computer, open the Control Panel. delete the whole folder completely, but close Desktop manager first.

I tried your suggestion about removing the "Calendar - all" from the advanced backup device list.
