i paused this movie for a short break, then afterwards when i started it again smplayer crashed and no cd/dvd's would read. When I run Intrepid Ibex Alpha 5 in my Compaq Presario C708LA the system operative not start. Also tried to boot with acpi=off noapic nolapic nohz=off pci=nomsi settings (and a combination of those), but it didn't help. i didn't experience any problem yet although.
