  • I don't know which software has changed it, but this folder is not exists.
  • It's possible your problem starting InnoDB is because you're trying to run mysqld without sufficient privileges.

I have TEMP = "%SystemDevice%\nobackup\temp" and the service tried to open temporary directory as C:\mysql\%SYSTE~1\nobackup\temp whereas the directly started mysqld opens it with translated %SystemDevide% (maybe command shell does the translation).

TMPDIR is not set explicitly, and the first 'fallback' directory in that case is '/tmp', which is accessible and has enough diskspace. what version? I tried to reconfigure the instance but again, I wasn't able to get it properly installed using multifunctional database option.
